Testing - get together: part 1

So after I finished playig Get Together with Tess, I sorta hit a sims dry spell. I didn t really feel like playing, or writing the blog. I think it might be because I was excited to play with the tingsim family again, but I ended up feeliong kinda bored when I played. 

Today I decided to try the easter challange with Tess instead, and that made me feel alot more in the sims mood.

I thought the create a sims stuff that game with this expsansion, had an interesting mix of two styles. There is the paty/clubbing style, and then there is the old vintage town kinda style. This actually goes for the whole feel of Get together, I personally love how they mixed two verry different styles and themes so well. 

I was happy to see, that there were some new haisrtyles and clothes for the kids.

I thought the girls clotehs were really cute, somehow I think it looks modern but allso has that old town feel. My favorite is the outfit the sim is wearing in the picture. 
There were allso two cute hairstyles for the girl, and two "unisex hairstyles" I call them that becasue the boys got teh same two hairstyle. One of them I think is cute for both genders, but the other I dont thnk fit a girl verry well, and I wish we had onlæy gotten that one for boys.

The hairstyles the boy is sporting in thsi picture, is the one I think dont fit girls. 
The boys got a nice variety in new clothes, and he can quickly  go from a "bad" boy to a "rich" kid.  
I dont know which is my favorite, i think it depedns alot on the kind of boy my sims is.

My first impresssion of the new hairstyles for the men, was that they looked kinda boring. But after further inspection, I do like some of them.
The men got quite alot of nice shirts, I have allready made a few nice outfits with them, but I think there are potential for alot more. they only got a few pair of pants though.

The hair for woman looks nice, but there are only two that I REALLY like. I quess it could be because I dont like straight hair all that much. I can see myself useing these hairstyles, in the future though. 

I dont like the party clothes all that much, so the outfits I made for Tess are mostley the old town style. I really likethat style, and im happy with (allmost) all the outfits I made for Tess. But it did surprice me, that there were only two new pair of shoes for women.
I by the way think the hairtsyle I chose for Tess, is perfect for her and I like it alot

I allso made her a formal oufit, two party outfits and swimwear
The formal wear is the outfit im not too satisfied with, but I think it turned out okay.

Okay now lets get into the game 

This is the new town Windenburg. Its a verry beatuful town, the style and feel of the town, remind me of old german towns. I think it has a verry charming and cosy feel to it.

Here is an atmosphere picture from the town. Tess was exploring it, and decided to head down to the harbor.

She allso found this great fishing spor, I think  it looks really beatiful with the town in the background.
There werent any new things to collect with this exspansion, I was dissapointed at first, but now im fine with it. It gave me time to finnish some of Tess's other collections, she finally cought all the fish. 

Thats all for now, but im gonna get started on part two right away.
