Dining out

I thought the Dining out game pack sounded really awsome, since I first heard about it. But I decided to not buy it right away, since I didnt play that much sims this summer. But I ha one week vaccation from school ion october, and I really missed playing sims. So I decideed that it was time to try this game pack.

3 everyday outfits and one formal outfit

As per usual I first looked at the new stuff in create a sim. There is not much new clothes for everyday wear with this pack, most of it is outfits for working in a resturant. I really like the pretty dress with the cardigan, and the cute top with a flower print, but the rest of the clothes dosent really do much for me. 
I chose this beautiful curly hairstyle for Tess, the two othe rhairstyles were cute as well, but im not sure that I like them.

I was verry happy to see, that there were new clothes and hair for the children. The outfit and hair for the girls are really nice, I like it alot. I allso really like the west and bowtie shirt for the boys, but I was a little dissapointed that there were no new pants to go with it. 

The resturant started out slowly, I hired one chef,  a waiter and a hostess. None had any exsperience, but Tess payed for the,m to get some training, so I hoped they would get better soon. There werent many costumers to start with, so Tess gave them ALOT of attention.

That didnt last long though, and I soon had to hire another waiter and chef.

The resturant grew really fast, and my first 3 employees became verry exsperienced. Somtimes there are even too many customers, for Tess to get around to greet everybody, and ask if they are satisfyed with their meal.

Byut then my cook suddenlly quit in anger, I didnt even know he was unhappy, the chart actually said that eh was quite happy. I quckly hireed him again, since he was actually getting quite good at making the food. But aparrenlly he lost that exsperience, so I had to pay for new training for him. 

A foodn critic stopped by, and I was kinda nevous to see what he had to say. He ghave a positive review, so that was verry nice. 

Tess's boyfriend invited her out to eat brunch, and offcors she said yes. I think it adds ALOT to the game that your sims can  eat out with friends, family and love interests. It really reminds me of inviting another sims out to eat on a date in The sims 2. Exspecially because you can actually do that, if you invite your sims love interest sto a date and chose a resturant as a location, then it will be part of the date objektive to eat at the resturant. 

I have really enjoyed seing my other sims, eating at the resturants. I think its verry nice to see that they have a good time with their loved once, when I dont play with them. Here I spotted the mom and dad from the family I hacve kist played with, dosent it look romantic? 

Back to a busy day at the resturant, the waiters are doing their best to get aroud everything. Unfortunally my hostess, is verry difficult to keep content. I just promoted her and I hope that helps, since I will be sad to loose her. She is a good hostess since she is level 10 in both karisma and  comedy but if she keeps being unhappy, I will probablly have to let her go. 

Things seems to be going well with my cooks though, they are getting good at making the food, and teh customers have noticed.

The food critic actually stopped by again, and this time he gave a GREAT reviev sayibng that he would be aregulair at the resturant. And after his review, my resturant became a 4 stars resturant yey!

I even got my first 5 star review from some customers. 

Yet things started to go downhill

One of my waiters dissapeared so I had to hire a new one. And then my exsperinced waiter dropped some food on the floor, a while later my new waiter did so as well. the food critic stopped by but he was not happy, and people got tired of waiting on thri food and left.

I made things go right again by useing some advantage, points that I had forgotten to use. Things went verry well and I quickly got my 4 stars back.

I found it verry difficult to keep my employees happy, and I worried that my chef would leave again, or maybe one of my waiters. I try to allways praise them,and give them promotions, but sometimes they are being verry difficult.

After alot of hard work, Tess's resturant finally got its last star. Im pretty happy to have reached this goal, and hopefully it will still be fun to run this resturant, maybe I will try to get more customers.

With all the excitment of running a resturant, I allmost forgot to make Tess take pictures of ecperimental food. I was catually pretty happy to see that this game pack, came with a new collection. There are 20 to collect, and it went pretty slow because Tess was busy with other stuff.

Kids room stuff

So I hven't played sims in a while, last I played was mid May. And during the time I haven't played, a game pack and a stuff pack has come out.  I was pretty excited about the dine out game pack, but since I dont play much these day, I decided that I would get it another time. But the kida room stuff pack was one that I REALLY wanted, and since its cheap I decided that I would get it and set some time aside to try it out. 
I was actually playing with a family with 3 kids, and after decorating 3 kids room, I really felt like the game lacked furniture for kids. So more furniture for the kids was  definitely on my wishlist, and im super happy that we got it.

Tess wont be the one to try out this pack, since its kids stuff and she dosent have any kids right now. But I have that family with 3 children, and they are Tess's descendants. Their oldest kid grew up to be a teenager last time I played, but the other two are still kids, so they will be perfect for trying out this pack. 
Fisrt I looked at the clothes. I made 4 everyday outfits for each of the kids, and I allso changed their hairstyle. 

Todd is the middle child of the family. I made him some outfits that fit his robustious personality, but they are allso påractical and cosy. He favors the colors purple, and blue which goes nicely with his red hair.

Thulit is the youngest child in the family. she is the alien daughter of the dad Teagan. 
I tryed to dress Thulit in pastels, that would look nice with her purple skintone. She really likes cute patterns.

There were so much new clothes to choose from, the selection is great for making outfits for alot of different kids. I really had fun making these outfits, for my two kids.
I love playing in create a sim, but I was really looking forward to decorate the kids rooms.

Thulits new room is fresh and cute, which really suits her. The soft pastel colors looks so nice together, it wase asy to makemthis colorscheme with the new furniture. 

Todds new room, shows that he likes to play games. The colors suit him much better, than the colors in his old room. 

Here is his new room from another angel, where its easier to see the bed and wardrobe.

I spend alot of time on these new rooms, and im pretty happy with the results. I ended up with something, that looks alot more interessting than the old rooms. And the new room really suits the kids taste and personality alot better.

Now lets take a look at the new gameplay that came with this stuff pack.

The new game console in Todds room, in a objects with new game play.To play the game, the kids had to order playing cards online. It turns out that the cards are collectible items, which was a positive surprise for me. I think its pretty frun that the kids can try and collect all the cards, like kids do in real life. 

The players each choose a monster card, and the monsters battle on the screen between them. The kids push the big buttoms, to make the monsters do different kind of attacks, and its pretty fun to watch. The winner of the battle get a positive mootlæet, ehile the looser getb a negative one. 
They can allso trade cards with eachother, and play with all their friends. 
So i think this game is a verry fun activity for the kids, and im definitely gonna try to collect all the cards. 

The puppetshow is cute, but not as extensive as the monster game. Its fun to see what kind of story they tell with the puppets, and it brings the famnily together. But there is not more to it than that.

I had hoped that this new plushie was one that they could play with, but to my dissapointment it turned out to be a decoration. 
But that was my ONLY dissapointment with this suff pack. Im verry happy to have new kids furniture, the clothe and hair is great (as allways with sims 4) and its awsome that there are new things for the kids to do.

The next game pack - Hopes and speculations

So im quessing that the next thing, that will come out for the sims 4, will be a game pack. 
Im hoping for something family related, but I have been hoping for that from the start, and maybe it would be better to have a family exspansion. the Other thing i would like, is a gp based around hobbies. In the sims 2 open for buisness, I loved the crafty hobbies such as sowing sculpting, making toys, making robots an more. They actually had something similiar in the sims 3, with sculpting and making machies. 
I personally really like having my sims create something unique with their hands, and it would be really great to have more like that in the sims 4.

I looked at the official sims forum. to see what their thoughts was. someone mentioned that it was rumored, that the next gp would contain resturants. I havent thought about that myself, but I think it sounds really great.

I read that there would be some news today, im really curious to see what its gonna be.  

Romantic garden stuff

I LOVE the sims 4 stuff packs. Create a sim is so fun in the sims 4, I can spend hours creating new outfits, and its a big help that I can save my creations in the galleri. I allso enjoy decorating, and I wanna be better at it. When furnishing my sims home, I have a tendensie to amke them simple and practical - so im working on getting better with the details. 

Annyways when Romantic garden was announce, it didnt take me long to decide that I wanted it. But I allso decided that I would wait to get it, because at the time the pack came out, I was having a sims break. 
But now im in wsims mode again, and I just finished the easter challange, so I think its aperfect time to do garden stuff. 

As uselly I started off giving Tess a mekeover, with the new stuff from the pack. Normally with stuff packs, I make the outfits for Tess in the galleri. But this time around I decided to do an in game makeover, like I do with game packs and exspansion - I just think Tess really needed some fresh new in game outfits.

I made 4 everyday outfits, and the last one is formal wear. Im especilly happy with the first two outfits and the formal wear, I think they looks beatiful and romantic. Its not that I dislike it, but I think the combination of formal jacket and shorts are weird. I do really like the coloful jacket, but I cant reallys see myself useing that outfit. I thought the blouse was kinda difficult, to make a romantic outfit with, but I think I managed okay. I do really like it thought, I think its great how its both simple and interesting - whick amke me thik i will find great sue for it in the future. 
There were only one female (and male) hairstyel with the pack, but I like it alot so I dont mind. I actually think its nice to see Tess with long wavy hair again. 

Now its time for Tess's garden to get one as well. I dont think im verry good at making gardens in the sims, atleast not compared to the people who make really beautiful gardens. 

This is how Tess's garden looked before, not too bad but allso nothing speciel and maybe a bit boring. The patio an bonfire area is gonna stay as is, but the rest needs a makeoever.

I made a verry romantic area, with the fountain as the centerpiece. And then I was a "secret" area, hidden by big trees. I think its a great improvement, but In allso think it could be better, or maybe im just too critical of myself. closeup pictures will come further down, when Tess exploreas her new garden. 

Since this pack is all about romance, I thought I would talk about Tess's relationship. Her and Bo started going steady, they are a great couple and I could actuallys see them having a future together.

 The game seems confused, about their relationship thought. How can they both be "just friends" and "lovers" not to mention being soulmates. I frind this confusion verry irritating.

It really dosent help, that its the same thing with her ex fling Matin. why did none of the romantic titles disspear when their relationship stopped being romantic? 

Bo invited Tess to a party, and looked at her with so much love in his eyes that I had to snap a picture. Little did I know..

That he would start flirting with her friend right in front of her. Tess got verry sad, she talked with them about it, but it didnt seem to help

Tess went to her clubhouse the next day. But outside Bo was flirting with Tess's best friend/granddaughter. Why would he keep flirting with her friends in front of her? its really bad for their relastionship, but I will try to save it.

So I thoughht spending some time in Tess's new romantic garden might help. But that offcors called for a makeover for Bo as well. 

As before I made 4 everyday outfits, and 2 formal wear. I really like the new tops, especially the vest over shirt and the colorfull shirt. But those pants, ugh i think they are awfull. I find the colors and pattern to be too tacky, and I dont like how they fit. The shorts have the same tacky patterns , but atleast they fit better. Well the plaid pattern is actually kinda charming, but I dont know if thats enough to get me to use them. 
Bo is not gonna keep these outfits when im done taking pictures, he is gonna go back to his Windenburg outfits. But I really like the hairstyle, and decided that he is gonna keep that. 

Tess is a curious person, so the first thing she did in the garden, was following the stone path beneath the big trees. she found an old hidden wishwell. She wished for a promotion, but nothing reallyseemed to happend. 

A kiss on the cheek, turned out to be a verrry romantic moment.

The atmosphere seemd to be getting to them

And the fountain is a gret place to sit and cuddle

They seemed to enjoy all the pretty flowers.

I really like this fountain, besides being really pretty, its allso verry functional

I made sure that there were lots of great places to sit in the garden.

Tess gave the wishing well another try, she wished for hapiness and she got a moodlet, that she was verry happy. But besides that I haven't played much with it.
